Chief Chris Key -- He has been a member of the department for over 12 years. Chris is a career firefighter
for the City of Danville, Virginia. He is trained as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic, Virginia State Firefighter
III and as a Hazardous Materials Specialist. Chris has 16 years of volunteer service in Southside Virginia.
Assistant Chief Jay Farrar--- He has been a member of the department for over 10 years. Jay
is a career Firefighter for the City of Danville, Virginia. He is trained as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic, Virginia

Materials Operations. He earned his Associate's Degree in Science and his Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science.

Fire Captain Kevin Farris --- He has been a member of the department for over 8 years and previously held the rank

an Emergency Medical Technician Basic, Virginia State Firefighter II and as a Hazardous Materials Specialist. Kevin has over

Medical Technician Intermediate, a Registered Nurse and as a American Heart Association CPR Instructor. Genny

Truck Lieutenant Chad Eikost -- Member of the department for over 10 years. He is a Pittsylvania County Sheriff's
Deputy. He is trained in Emergency Vehicle Operations. Chad has 10 years of volunteer service in Southside Virginia.
Grounds Lieutenant Kyle Owen--Member of the department for over 3 years. He is trained as an Emergency Medical Technician
Basic, Virginia State Firefighter I and Hazardous Materials. Kyle has 3 Years of volunteer service in Southside
Virginia.
